Mike is a lively, fun kitty, who loves play and treats. Mike was fostered with his brother. They cuddled adorably and got along great. He was fascinated by two older tame cats he met. Mike eagerly sniffed the curious older cats through the barriers. When he was allowed to socialize, he and the older cats did lots of touching noses, gentle playing, grooming each other, and napping in a pile.
He got along fine with new people, nearly as well as with the main foster. He does run away from people approaching directly or reaching out, but accepted petting and being picked up. He has not encountered children, but was not bothered by random noise changes (like a radio going). I love it when he happily comes up to me at mealtimes and accepts being put up onto my lap. We sit there, him enthroned, munching, and me petting him all over, belly and all. I'll miss seeing him romp around joyfully with his brother and following my other cat around adoringly.
Mike would do best going home with a feline friend, or going to a house that has a cat already, as other cats make him more relaxed and comfortable. (And keep him entertained).
Mike recently made a kitty friend named Percy. They like cuddling together so we'd love to see them go home together.
