What should your foster animal's bio say? Honey is a very affectionate kitty. She loves spending her afternoons asleep near her people, or preferably right on their lap or shoulder. When sitting on the couch she'll sit right behind you on the back of the couch with her chin propped up on your shoulder and have the happiest cat nap of her day.
How does your cat react when being held? How does your cat feel about being picked up? Honey loves being held and has no problems at all getting picked up. In fact, if you haven't already picked her up she may paw at your leg to get you to scoop her up for a snuggle.
How do they play with you? Honey is a SUPER jumper! She loves to play with a wand toy and will leap back and forth to catch the flying feathers. She may be tiny, but this girl can jump - in fact she jumped right over our baby gate when she only weighed 2 pounds! She also loves chasing after the jingle ball and mouse toys (though she also loves to hide these under the furniture!)
What is their behavior like with new people and/or children? : Honey didn't meet many new folks while with us, including not meeting children, but she's the most curious and adventurous of the siblings. She isn't scared of loud noises and is always the first to explore something new.
What is their behavior like with other animals? Honey also didn't meet any other animals, other than her two siblings with us (Eli and Pepper). She was very good at playing with her siblings. Despite being a lot smaller than them she was just as likely to pounce in on the action!
What kind of litter box setup did you have for your cat? How would you describe their success using the litter box? We used a closed-top litter box with non-clumping clay litter. Honey had no issues at all, though she was very curious about me scooping the litter box. If I was cleaning the litter box I could guarantee she would run in to see what I was doing.
Is there anything else that you would like the new adopter to know about this cat, such as any special tricks or adorable traits? Honey is what I would call a "shoulder" cat. Most days in the afternoon her happiest place was strung across my shoulders, fast asleep, while I was working from home. She is a super snuggly kitty, and generally follows me around the house.
