Personality: Tori is the sweetest girl once you are in her circle of friends! She is fearful of strangers and will take some time to get comfortable around new people. Sometimes it may take few meets for her to be comfortable. She does better when introduced by a friend, she finds comfort when she is near a person she knows. Tori is looking for an adult only, low key home where she gets to go on long walks and hikes. She also loves to run around in a secure yard or park.
Tori's adoption includes training scholarship for one free consultation with positive reinforcement trainer. History: Tori came to HSSV as a stray. Dog Skills: Tori seems to be cautious around other dogs. She is frightened of rowdy and forward dogs and will correct them immediately. He would do great as an only dog where she gets all the attention to herself. Cat Skills: Tori will chase a cat if option presents itself. Leash Skills: Tori pulls on leash when she is excited and would benefit from wearing a front-clip harness while she learns loose leash walking. Medical: Dental Disease. This animal has mild dental disease and may benefit from having a thorough dental cleaning with the adopter's veterinarian within the next 12 months. Dental care is an on-going process that will need to be addressed for the life of this patient. Optimal dental health is important to a pet as it helps to preserve their teeth and improves overall health.
