What should your foster's bio say? Cary is a sweet boy who loves to play. He has tonnes of energy and loves to run, leap, and chase things He will curl up in your lap once playtime is over. He is very affectionate and gentle.
How does your cat react when being held? How does your cat feel about being picked up? He doesn't mind being picked up at all. He is happy to be held for a short snuggle session when he first greets you. Then he needs to get down and run around. More snuggles later when it's nap time.
How do they play with you? Cary is happy to play alone or with people or other cats. String toys are a favorite as are toys that make noise when batted about such as jingle bells or rattles. He is careful with his claws but sometimes forgets that humans don't appreciate play biting. He is high energy and needs room to run.
What is their behavior like with new people and/or children? : He can be a little stand-offish at first but warms to people quickly, especially if they bring toys. No experience with children.
What is their behavior like with other animals? Approaches other cats immediately with offers to play. No experience with dogs.
What kind of litter box setup did you have for your cat? How would you describe their success using the litter box? Very consistent with the litter box. We used an open-sided litter box. No special needs.
Is there anything else that you would like the new adopter to know about this cat, such as any special tricks or adorable traits? When he first sees you Cary will rest his front paws against your leg asking to be picked up. If you hold him against your shoulder he will gently reach up and touch your face with his paws and nose.
