I've been adopted!
About me
What should your foster's bio say? I'm a little shy at first but once I get to know you, I'll be ready to play! I love chasing balls across the floor and playing with my toys. I like to be held and I have the softest fur ever. You'll hear me purring my contentment. When I'm tired, I'll curl up on your lap or in my bed and recharge for my next play session. Won't you take me home so we can play and cuddle together?
How does your cat react when being held? How does your cat feel about being picked up? Barney doesn't mind being held or picked up. If there's something else interesting going on, though, he might squirm to get down.
How do they play with you? Barney likes to chase balls and bat at his cat teaser toy. He is a little shy at first but is very playful and energetic once he's comfortable around you. He also loves his cardboard scratching ramp.
What is their behavior like with new people and/or children? : Barney enjoys playing with my 15 year-old son. He has not met any younger children. Due to COVID, we haven't introduced Barney to anyone outside of our immediate family.
What is their behavior like with other animals? Barney has been introduced to my small dog. He's still unsure of him and will usually hide. Barney has begun to play with my older cat.
What kind of litter box setup did you have for your cat? How would you describe their success using the litter box? Barney is a litter box champ! He's never had an accident. I have a litter box with a top and swinging door. I've used both clay litter and the clumping kind (Slide) and he does great with both.
Is there anything else that you would like the new adopter to know about this cat, such as any special tricks or adorable traits?
Barney is always ready for a play session! He loves to chase balls or his stuffed mouse. He also enjoys batting at his cat teaser toy. He has the softest fur ever and has discovered his strong purr motor. He's a sweetheart!

Barney has been fostered with Andy (179936). They are good buddies and it would be great if they were adopted together. If it's not possible, they will be fine on their own.
