Personality: He is a sweet kitty that loves to be showered with attention! He can be a little shy at first going to a new place and meeting new people, but after he has time to adjust (and munch on yummy treats) he warms up and wants to be your friend; cheek scratches are his favorite! He's also a lap cat, so be prepared to be stuck under him for a while! He can get overstimulated with heavy petting (tail-flicking, back rippling, dilated eyes) but settles down when given a break.
History: O'Malley came to us from another shelter.
Cat/Dog Skills: O'Malley has his own room but is able to see cats through his window and currently has no reaction to them. There is no history on O'Malley interacting with dogs.
Medical: O'Malley tested positive for the Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) on a routine screening test. Cats with FIV can live long and happy lives, but with their immune system affected by the virus they can be more susceptible to illness or infection. He also had stomatitis, an allergic response to plaque in the mouth. Due to the severity of this all of his teeth have been extracted.
O'Malley's adoption fee has been sponsored!
