About me
Hi there. I like to take things pretty slow - I'm in no great hurry to get anywhere - except perhaps your lap for some love and affection. I adore attention. If you want a relaxed companion, someone to kick back and cuddle with after a hard day's work, I'm the cat for you.
My care has been sponsored by Fang Hong! Yes, I've got my fair share of health waivers, but the amount of love I would have in return for you caring for me could easily help them to be overlooked. My eye looks a bit odd, but that's just from an old issue that led to some corneal scarring. It doesn't bother me. * FIV+ FIV positive cats frequently are healthy for many years, and may even live a full life span. Because FIV affects the immune systems in cats, they can be more vulnerable to other infections that may cause severe illness due to a weakened immune system. It is therefore recommended to keep cats with FIV indoors to minimize exposure to outdoor cats, and or infections/diseases/parasites. If you have other cats in your home FIV can be transmitted only if there is fighting with deep biting, or mating behaviors shared with a positive cat. Cats that peacefully co-exist without any biting or mating are at no risk of becoming infected with FIV. * Plasma Cell Pododermatitis This cat has been diagnosed with a condition caused plasma cell pododermatitis - a foot pad disease found mostly in cats. This is an immune-mediated condition and the cause is unknown. We have tested this cat for the feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) which may have a link to this disease, and he has tested Positive. He is currently receiving an antibiotic called Doxycyline - and he may need to receive this antibiotic for up to 10 weeks (we will provide you with enough to help in the beginning.) This condition may go into remission; however, this condition will require lifelong management and monitoring. It will be my adoptive family's responsibility to seek veterinary care for these conditions (mainly for annual updates/rechecks) and develop an ongoing plan that seems fit for me. Looking for someone to share your space with? Look no further! Come meet me, 2pm - 5pm at the Milpitas ACC. ![]() Questions about adopting?
