About me
Personality: Sweetie Pie definitely lives up to her name! This girl has so much love to give and approaches readily for pets. She's like to be a shoulder cat once she loses some weight as she's tried to balance on our volunteers' shoulders from time to time with little success. She has a history of sleeping in bed with her previous owner and loves to cuddle up for some TLC. My care is sponsored by Matthew Zises!

History: Sweetie Pie came to us, with her sister Speckles, as a surrender when their owner sadly passed away. In the time we've had Sweetie Pie, she's adjusted wonderfully in our community cat room and is even unfazed by the younger cats who come up to investigate her. However, Speckles was removed from the room, because of bullying behavior. In the time since Speckles has left, Sweetie Pie has become more outgoing.

Cat/Dog Skills: Sweetie Pie came to us with Speckles, is very cat friendly, and has done well to adjust to new friends in our community cat room. She has been seen laying next to and sleeping with some of the other cats. She has no experience with dogs.

Medical: Sweetie Pie has mild dental disease and may benefit from having a thorough dental cleaning with the adopter's veterinarian within the next 12 months. Dental care is an on-going process, and the adopting family is encouraged to discuss continuing dental care for Sweetie with their family veterinarian or a veterinary dentist. Sweetie is also overweight. Weight loss will significantly improve her quality of life and general health. Your veterinarian can advise you regarding a target weight, recommended food and a regular feeding regimen for her.
