About me
Hope and Molly's adoption fees have been sponsored!
Personality: Molly is the sweetest 9 year old you will ever meet! She loves attention and will do anything for treats. Molly came to us as a part of bonded pair with her daughter, Hope (A#184196). Both ladies are in their best years and would love nothing more than a second chance. They are looking for a low-key household where they can explore a yard, go on little walks and cuddle up in front of a fireplace. History: Molly came to us from another shelter where she was surrendered together with her daughter, Hope. Dog/Cat skills: Molly loves her daughter Hope and they are always together prancing around the yard or cuddling in their room here at HSSV. She can be little sensitive to other forward and rude dogs, she will politely correct and move away. We don't have an information how Molly does with cats. Leash skills: Molly walks nicely on leash. Medical: Periodontal disease. Molly has been diagnosed with periodontal disease (also known as gum disease or dental disease). This disease is extremely common in dogs and cats, especially as they age. Molly had a dental cleaning recently at HSSV and teeth that were determined to be unhealthy were removed. Repaired Cherry Eye. This dog had a condition called a prolapsed gland of the nictitating membrane or "cherry eye" in her left eye. The cherry eye has been repaired in this dog according to the standard pocket technique twice (the first repair failed). She has recovered from the surgery very well and so far, the cherry eye appears resolved. Ready to meet Molly and Hope?
