Gregory has been adopted!

Personality: Gregory is a social, smart, athletic dog that is waiting for his forever home! He can be jumpy and excitable so it's good to reward him for keeping all four paws on the floor. Gregory is a high energy dog and would make an excellent running or hiking partner. Gregory would do best in a adult household who can provide plenty of physical and mental exercise as well as basic training to help guide him. My care has been sponsored by Pankaj Agarwal! History: He came to us from another animal shelter.

Dog/Cat Skills: Gregory can be overwhelmed and sensitive to forward, rowdy dogs. He prefers polite meets and has done well in a playgroup setting with calm, polite female dogs. He enjoys playing chase with minimal physical contact. He will correct dogs that are rude. He has a true shepherd play style and will mouth at the backs of other dogs in play and chase, and can be vocal and bossy. He has been introduced to several dogs on and off-leash, and needs appropriate, tolerant matches to be successful. We have seen Gregory show intense focus and intent to chase cats seen through fences. Adopters should be aware of prey drive breed tendencies.

Leash Skills: Gregory pulls while walking on a leash and would benefit from the use of a front clipping harness.
