Personality: Paula is a very sweet girl who can be shy and fearful in new places and around new people. Once she warms up she is very affectionate and will solicit attention from her favorite people. Paula is recommended to a low-key adult household where she is allowed to decompress for a day or two and allowed to move at her own pace during the adjustment period. A secure yard would help to give her space to move away when she is uncomfortable. Paula appears to be potty trained and yummy snacks are the way to her heart. If you prefer low key activities like cuddling and walks around quiet neighborhood then Paula might be the gal for you.
History: Paula was surrendered to us by a Good Samaritan who was helping out a friend that wasn't able to provide for Paula any more.
Dog/Cat Skills: Paula likes other small, friendly dogs. She has solicited play with few dogs since she has been with us but mostly will peacefully co-exist around other polite canines. We don't have a history on how Paula is around cats.
Leash Skills: Paula walks nicely on leash. She enjoys going on neighborhood walks. She can get scared of loud noises and fast movements while on leash so walking in quiet areas or during quiet hours is recommended.
