Renata has been adopted!

Renata had a beach day, and was the best doggo in all the land!

She did great getting into the car, and busied herself with her chew toys. While at the beach she met other dogs who were off leash and was the perfect lady. She had great tail wags and was super polite.

She loved playing fetch with her ball in the ocean, and also liked swimming.

Reneta would make the best beach companion!

Personality: Renata is full of life and in her mind every day is a party! She is a high energy, high arousal dog in need of adult only, active home that can provide plentiful of outlets for her physical and mental needs. Renata has a high drive and she can play fetch or tug games for hours! Recently she has taken liking to water and has been spending time playing in a large doggy pool, so we believe that Renata would love a home with swimming pool or living near a lake where she can splash around to her hearts content. Renata is a very smart girl and is always willing to learn more. She already knows "sit", "lay", "paw", "touch" and "wait". If you are an active person looking for a jogging or hiking partner who will keep you on your toes, Renata may be your gal.

Renata's adoption includes a post-adoption training scholarship sponsored by Pedigree Foundation. This is a one time private lesson with a R+ trainer who can help you to come up with a training plan for Renata.

History: This dog came to us as a stray from Sunnyvale.

Dog Skills: Renata likes other dogs after she has gone on a walk with them first. She has shown willingness to play and has shown to be a dog that wants to roughhouse and use her mouth in play. She is recommended to go home with a tolerant male dog or be an only dog.

Cat Skills: Renata will show hard focus and willingness to chase towards small dogs, cats and other critters and would do best in a home without animals smaller than her.

Leash Skills: Renata pulls on the leash when she is excited. It is recommended that she is walked using front clip harness (EasyWalk or Freedom Harness) while she learns loose leash walking.
