Mallory has been adopted!

Personality: Mallory is an excited high energy girl. She loves going for runs and long walks, and would do great as an exercise partner. She does participate in our dog playgroups but can be overwhelmed initially. Once she's comfortable she will engage in play and enjoys chase. Mallory can be nervous in new situations so we recommend a home that is comfortable working with a dog that needs confidence building.

History: Mallory was adopted from us as a puppy and was recently returned due to a change in her family's living situation.

Dog/Cat Skills: Mallory has regular play dates with dogs. She does best with dogs that are social and tolerant of her vocal, bossy, and forward play style. Mallory may target less tolerant or insecure dogs. She does best with confident, social dogs that can ignore (not escalate) her rowdy, physical play style. She can be very forward and rude when meeting some dogs. Mallory has not been around cats in our care and is nervous when meeting forward dogs.

Leash Skills: Mallory walks well on leash but may stall in front of doors when heading back to the building or her room. We are using high-value treats and time to slowly lure her back. She is not comfortable with being picked up at this time.
