Personality: Maverick is a goofy Husky boy looking for home to call his own. He can be little bashful when first meeting new people but he warms up quick with some patience and yummy treats. As most Huskies, Maverick is a high energy boy who LOVES to run! He is looking for an active home that can keep up with his energy by providing daily cardio exercise such as hiking, jogging and running. Maverick also enjoys good old game of fetch. This boy is very smart and will keep you on your toes - he has been learning new tricks, picking up some agility skills and he is very motivated to learn more! If you are a Husky savvy home looking for a silly, active and loving boy, Maverick is here waiting patiently.

History: Maverick came to us as a stray from Sunnyvale.

Dog Skills: Maverick enjoys playing chase with other dogs that are polite but playful. He prefers the company of female dogs over males. Dogs that are too forward overwhelm him.

Cat skills: As most Huskies, Maverick will chase a cat if the opportunity presents itself.

Leash Skills: Maverick is still learning proper leash manners and will pull on leash when excited. He would benefit from attending Obedience classes where he can learn to walk nicely on leash. While transitioning in new environments he has shown to be fearful of loud noises when on walks.
