Roxanne has been adopted!

Roxanne is part of the Downton Puppey Adoption Promo $20 adoption fee for dogs over 40lbs!

Personality: Roxanne is a sweet girl looking for a home that can meet her needs. She is a typical Herding breed dog in need of lots of exercise and work to do! Roxanne will need regular walks, hiking, running, agility classes or dog sports activities so that she can keep herself busy and stay out of trouble. She can also be a little shy and fearful of unfamiliar people but she warms up as long as yummy treats are involved. Ideal home for Roxanne would be an adult-only active household with Herding breed experience where she can get the exercise, mental stimulation, and training that she needs.

Roxanne's adoption includes a post-adoption training scholarship sponsored by Pedigree Foundation. This is a one time private lesson with a R+ trainer who can help you to come up with a training plan for Roxanne.

History: Roxanne was adopted from us right before pandemic hit the nation. She wasn't receiving the attention and her physical needs weren't met so she would find her own entertainment. She was returned after her previous family decided that they are not equipped to take care of Roxanne and meet her needs.

Dog Skills: Roxanne does well around polite dogs that can peacefully co-exist with her. She likes to go on walks with other dogs but doesn't appreciate if other dog gets in her face, she likes to be in her bubble which is a characteristic of Cattle dogs.

Leash Skills: Roxanne loves to go on walks and she may pull on leash when excited. She walks great using front-clip harness while she is learning loose leash walking.
