Personality: Miles is a sweet, people-loving boy. He's energetic, playful, and a big fan of going on long walks, hikes, runs, and playing with tennis balls. He has met a couple kids (a 9-year-old and 17-month-old) and did great with both of them, and in particular was very gentle with the younger child. His foster family noted that he was very well-behaved in the home, and did great being left alone.
History: Miles came to us from a shelter in the Central Valley.
Dog skills: Miles regularly participates in playgroups. He has done best with tolerant, social female dogs and will engage in some play (mostly chase). Miles can be intolerant of rowdy male dogs, and may police exuberant, playful dogs that play together.
Cat skills: We do not have a history of Miles with cats. On walks, Miles has shown hyper focus on small animals such as squirrels.
Leash skills: Miles enjoys going on long walks. He sometimes pulls on leash, and has done well with walking on a harness. Miles can be talkative and vocal at the sight of other dogs while he's on leash.
Medical: Miles has worn down incisor teeth. If his teeth begin causing him pain, he may need extractions in the future.
