Personality: Konnor is smart, active, and very energetic dog. Konnor can be quite excited when meeting new people and can jump and mouth, before settling down. Konnor has been adopted twice and been returned for jumping and mouthing at faces. He was in a home with small children and the fmaily felt that his mouthy behaviors were too much for the children. It is recommended that he goes to an adult home who are comfortable working with mouthy behaviors. He has many standard husky behaviors, including chase/herding tendencies, and needs plenty of daily physical and mental stimulation. Konnor is very food motivated and is looking to engage his brain as well as get lots of exercise outlets. Konnor would do great in an active, adult, large dog experienced home where he can join his family on hikes and outdoor adventures.
History: Konnor came to us a stray from Fresno as a part of a Regional Rescue.
Dog Skills: Konnor has participated in daily play groups with other large dogs and enjoys engaging in high energy play. Konnor has been introduced to a small dog in our care, and he showed relaxed, playful behaviors. He will benefit from having a playful canine in the home.
Cat Skills: Konnor will focus on cats while on walks and may pull towards them on leash.
Leash Skills: Konnor can pull hard on leash at times and would benefit from the use of an Easy Walk harness.
