Jayce has been adopted!

Personality: Jayce is a sweet dog that can be nervous with new people and may try to move away at first. He will warm up with a jolly happy voice and prefer to be able to come up to new people at his own pace, especially when yummy treats are involved. With some time, he will eagerly greet people with a tail wag and wiggles. Once comfortable he loves cuddles and pets. He is looking for a patient family with experience working with shy dogs to allow him to bloom into a wonderful lap dog and fur-ever friend.

History: Jayce came to us from Madera County Animal Control on 1/6/21

Dog/Cat Skills: Jayce was introduced to several small dogs in playgroup. He greets politely and engages in polite play. Jayce is currently housed with another dog. He has no history with cats.

Leash Skills: Jayce will need encouragement to walk on a leash. He does best when encouraged with happy talk or treats.
