About me
Personality: Zoey is a lovely girl who is such a happy, goofy dog. She is only around 3lbs and enjoys being carried. She loves to snuggle under blankets and snuggle with her people. She gets along great with other dogs and even shares her bed with them. She has a great appetite for soft food and once in her bed, she sleeps all night. She can't jump up onto the couch but if lifted up she loves to snuggle on your lap. Zoey very much knows the concept of going potty outside and has been very good. She has had a couple of accidents but she has only been here a couple of days. She has only been in a foster home for a short time, so was only left alone for about 30 minutes and did fine being left with the foster family's dog. Zooey is a very sweet little girl that deserves a happy home for the rest of her life. She will bring lots of smiles and love to any home that is lucky enough to adopt her.

History: Zoey has been living in a foster home with adults and

Dog/Cat Skills: She is very polite with my dog, who is a larger Chihuahua. She jumped into his bed with him after being here for about 2 hours, so she has some self-confidence and trust.

Leash Skills: Zoey is still learning how to walk on leash and may need happy talk or treats.

Medical: Zoey had a dental cleaning recently at HSSV. At that time the patient was anesthetized and all the teeth were cleaned with an ultrasonic scaler to remove tartar and plaque. The teeth were then polished to prevent premature tartar build-up. The teeth were evaluated for fractures and periodontal disease. Teeth that were determined to be unhealthy were removed. Unfortunately, due to the extensive dental disease present in this patient, she only has one remaining tooth. She may prefer canned or soft food only for the rest of her life.
