Pixie has been adopted!

Personality: Pixie is a timid, gentle dog that needs time to settle in when she's around new people and places. When transitioning, Pixie is a shy little girl who prefers to sit back and watch the world around her. She is often made nervous by all the sights and sounds, and likes staying huddled in a corner or someone's lap to feel safe. In a quiet, experienced home with time to adjust and a calm, confident dog role model, Pixie can learn to be brave. She would do best in an adult household with experience helping shy dogs gain confidence.

History: Pixie came to us as a stray.

Dog/Cat skills: Pixie is under socialized with dogs. She shows mild interest, but is often too nervous and overwhelmed to interact. She is quiet and can peaceful coexist around other polite dogs. Pixie will likely benefit from having a confident, calm canine role model in the home. We have no history on how Pixie is around cats.

Leash skills: Pixie needs to learn how to walk on leash. She will benefit from having access to an enclosed yard for leash and potty training.
