Personality: Taz is a rambunctious, playful young boy looking for experienced hands to help guide him through his teenage months. He's very social and outgoing, but is still working on his manners. He gets very excited meeting new people, and often becomes jumpy and mouthy. With the help of tasty treats and a calm role model, Taz is working on how to greet and politely interact with people. He is very treat-motivated, so teaching him new tricks is fun for everyone involved. Taz is very active and would love a calm home but active lifestyle.
History: Taz came to us from a shelter in the Central Valley.
Dog skills: Taz can be nervous initially around other dogs and is still learning to be more social. He can peacefully coexist and wants to play a little but can be easily overwhelmed. sTaz would greatly benefit from a confident canine role model to help show him the ropes and one day be his play mate.
Cat skills: We do not have a history of Taz with cats.
Leash skills: Taz pulls on leash, especially when he first starts on a walk. Sometimes he becomes over eager and may grab at the leash. He is learning to focus for treats or redirect to a toy.
Come to our Milpitas Animal Community Center (ACC) between 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. any day of the week and meet Taz!
