About me
Personality: Annie is a very people social and affectionate dog; she is known for her sweet, loving, and calm personality. While Annie will never miss a chance to snuggle with her family, she is also up for long walks, runs, or hikes. When it comes to training she is also very smart, she already knows "sit", and is always willing to learn more when treats are involved. Her favorite toys are squeaky and has been known to enjoy playing with the children's toys too. I am sponsored by Janet Yu!

History: Annie previously lived in a household with adults and a 5 year old child.

Dog Skills: Annie is uncomfortable around other dogs. She would prefer to keep her distance and be the only dog in the household.

Cats Skills: Annie has a history of chasing cats in a home environment and on walks.

Leash Skills: Annie walks nicely on leash.

Medical: Annie may have a condition called allergic dermatitis or atopy. With this condition, the she has allergies to common things in his or her environment such as pollens, grasses, dust mites, etc. As a response to these allergies, dogs with this condition tend to develop itchy skin and ear infections. Her issue seems to be mostly confined to her feet and in between her toes. This condition can be managed with providing medicated baths, antibiotics and anti-histamines, among other treatments prescribed by your veterinarian. This animal has mild to moderate dental disease and would benefit from having a thorough dental cleaning by a veterinarian within the next 6 months. HSSV has partnered with one of our local veterinary hospitals, to provide the adopter with a voucher for this dental procedure to receive a free dental cleaning under anesthesia within 12 months of adoption.
