What should your foster animal's bio say? My name is Beans. I'm a beautiful shiny, black kitty with a tiny white spot under my chin. I may take time to make friends but once I do I am a little purr machine. I love rough and tumble play with my brothers. I am the alpha kitty. When play time is over, I come to my human for chin and cheek rubs and a snuggle.
How does your cat react when being held? How does your cat feel about being picked up? He is easy to pick up. He will stay for a while if giving cheek or chin rubs but once you stop, he is eager to jump down to play with his brothers.
How do they play with you? He begins purring the minute he sees me and comes to me looking for treats or playtime. He loves to play with balls, feathers, and run through the tunnel chasing a toy or wrestling with one of his brothers. He loves catching the wand toy and wrestling it away from his brothers.
What is their behavior like with new people and/or children? : He has only met my husband and me. He will most likely be skittish at first but with treats, toys and a gentle approach he will soon be purring.
What is their behavior like with other animals? He has only seen my dog at a distance and did not seem to mind. He met my two 1 yo cats. If they hiss and swat at him he will arch his back but if they are calm he will continue to play and explore. He is a brave explorer.
What kind of litter box setup did you have for your cat? How would you describe their success using the litter box? A regular size litter box with non clumping clay litter. He was very good at using the litter box with no accidents.
Is there anything else that you would like the new adopter to know about this cat, such as any special tricks or adorable traits? Beans is a energetic and brave little kitty, a constant purrer.
