Hugo thrives when given a little time to adjust to new surroundings and new friends. With a little patience, he blossoms into a truly loving and loyal companion.

Hugo enjoys the company of other dogs and would love to meet a furry friend who shares his gentle nature. He prefers to take his time when making new connections, so slow introductions are the way to go! With some positive reinforcement and encouragement, he's sure to build strong, trusting friendships.

This adorable guy is still learning the ropes and would do best with a family who understands his need for reassurance as he grows and discovers the world. Hugo is ready to become your forever friend and share many cozy moments with you! 🐾

Notes from foster parent:
He's currently living with 2 cats. He gets excited when he sees them and will try to approach them; however, he will walk away with the cats hiss. He needs a few minutes to warm up to stranger but will get comfortable quite fast. He would do best in a home with multiple pets. Hugo is full of energy and loves to play! He enjoys rolling on the grass, chasing after his toys, and has a blast with his famous zoomies. While he gets a little nervous around active kids, he is perfectly comfortable with calm children and enjoys their company. With a little time, he warms up and reveals his playful side!Hugo is a friendly pup who loves meeting other dogs. He happily sniffs and plays with pals as long as they are gentle and non-aggressive.
Ideal Home:
Hugo would thrive in a loving and patient environment where he can play to his heart's content and have calm interactions. A home with older, more composed children or a calm household would suit him best.
