Rubi is a calm, intelligent, and friendly dog. She's very smart and quickly learns commands, usually after just a couple of repetitions.

She loves sleeping near people and is clever enough to understand boundaries; she'll stay close without trying to get into bed with you.

Rubi enjoys going on walks and running around, though she's not especially fast. Her favorite toys are balls and squeaky stuffed animals, which she plays with enthusiastically.

She's obedient, affectionate, and loyal. Whether at home or in the park, Rubi will stick by your side unless you ask her to stay or fetch. It usually takes her about 3-4 days to warm up to someone new, and she often bonds closely with one person she chooses to follow around the most.

During walks or runs, she stays focused and calm, unfazed by barking dogs, loud cars, or even crying babies. The only thing that truly catches her attention? Squirrels.

All Rubi needs is a loving, caring home where she's treated as part of the family. She's spent times in apartments and lived in a single-family house-she's very adaptable to different environments.

She'd be happiest with two walks a day and plenty of playtime and cuddles. Rubi truly is a wonderful companion.
