About me
What should your foster animal's bio say? Maple is a sweet good girl who knows what she likes and wants and is ready to have it all. She is class, sass, and potties outside on grass. She is very shy to begin with but will slowly and surely start coming out of her shell with time. She enjoys car rides, sitting on the top of the couch, and playing with her fellow small canine friends. Maple also appreciates affection and loves to snuggle on the couch with her people. One thing to note is that while she is ready to live her best life, she is also very scared of unfamiliar places, things, noises both indoors and outdoors, and extreme weather phenomena like wind storms and the sound of them. She enjoys going on walks and would probably appreciate a nice park during a calmer time of day. She may also potentially enjoy shorter hiking adventures.
What did you implement for house training? Do you think it's working? Maple knows to pee and poop outside. Once she knew the backyard, she was good with a potty routine and would also tell us if she needed to go out by standing in front of the backyard door.
Have you introduced them to a crate? If so, what kind of crate and what was their reaction? We did not use any crate or x-pen with Maple.
How many hours did you leave them home alone? What was their behavior like when left alone? N/A
What is their behavior like with other animals? She seemed excited when getting to the shelter because she saw other small canines from her playgroup outside and wanted to go play with them.
What is their behavior like with new people and/or children? : She wasn't around any kids.
