Leela has been adopted!

Leela is, in a word, intrepid. She loves exploring, romping around the room, climbing, and wrestling with her brother, Fry. She's slowly learning about the joys of cuddling with people, but isn't a lap cat.
Leela lived with a dog and an adult cat, but they were rarely in the same room. She was aware of them, and showed no fear when she saw/heard them.
Leela met several other adults, and didn't behave any differently with them than she does with her foster parents. She met children aged 8 and 12 briefly, and there were no issues--again, she behaved the same way with them as she does with her foster parents.
Leela loves climbing up my pants legs when it's mealtime, and she has a great time playing with my shoelaces. But my favorite interaction is when she gets tuckered out and falls asleep in my lap.
My favorite thing about Leela is her confidence. Despite having just one eye, she investigates everything in her environment, plays with enthusiasm, and ably navigates precarious spots. It's very gratifying, however, to hear her purr when you stroke her head.
More Recent Update: It took some time, but Leela now enjoys being held and purrs readily! She will occasionally nip fingers (gently), but if you make a yelp sound and/or say "no", the bites turn into licks right away.
