About me
Personality:Jenny is a quiet, gentle girl that prefers the calm and quiet ov this hustle and bustle. With calm interaction she warms up quickly and enjoys snuggles on your lap. She loves her cheek rubs and chin scratches most of all! And her favorite treat is cat temptations.

History: Jenny has done best in a quiet adult household, where she can be greated quietly and slowly.

Cat/Dog Skills: Jenny has previously lived as the only pet in the household.

Jenny appears have a condition called allergic dermatitis or atopy. With this condition, she has allergies to common things in her environment such as pollens, grasses, dust mites, and fleas or other external parasites. As a response to these allergies, cats with this condition tend to develop itchy skin, ear infections and ulcers of the lips/face/nose. The treatment she was given on 8/10/20 has resulted in complete remission of the lesion on her upper R lip.

Dental Disease with Voucher for Dental Cleaning.
Jenny has mild to moderate dental disease and would benefit from having a thorough dental cleaning by a veterinarian within the next 12 months.HSSV has partnered with one of our local veterinary hospitals, Parktown Veterinary Clinic, to provide the adopter with a voucher for this dental procedure within 12 months of adoption.

Poor vision
Jenny appears to have poor vision. She sees larger objects but her ability to follow movement and her fine vision appears poor. She will need to be an in-door cat for the remainder of her life. Due to poor vision, she startles easily with sudden movement and noises. At this time we are using medication to minimize the her stress with a busy shelter environment.
