Hello, my name is Hazel!

I am silly and wiggly, and I will do tricks for treats-because food is the most wonderful thing in the whole wide world, right? But, there's also running after my stuffie plush toys and scratching my back in the grass that are part of my top 10. Other dogs? I enjoy their company, but cats, hmm... they are good only for chasing. I do appreciate a human friend to lean on during stressful times as I make strides exploring outside my comfort zone-such as being a bit scared of being touched by strangers and in the past being wary of walking on leash. But if you show me love and earn my trust, I'll give it back and let you pet my tummy and sit next to you while we watch TV, like I do with my foster mom. Who knows-we may both experience the true power of love.
